Zahra Buhari Reacts To Bias In Newspaper Reportage Of The Bomb Blasts In Adamawa

Zahra Buhari, the daughter of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to what appears to be a biased newspaper report about the recent bombings in Nigeria. This is coming after a twin bomb blast blamed on Boko Haram killed scores of people at a worship center and at a market in Mubi Adamawa few days ago.

Bolaji Abimbola, a Facebook user took to the platform where he brought his observation to the notice of the public about how the news was reported. According to him, fairness in news reporting is lost.

His Facebook post which was shared by Zahra Buhari on her Instastories reads:

I usually don’t do this, but today I feel I should. Last week, some Christians including some catholic priests were gruesomely murdered by some villains tagged ‘Suspected Herdsmen’ and the headline was very direct Catholic Priests, others killed by herdsmen but yesterday 60 Muslims were killed in a mosque and the headline reads- 60 Worshipers Killed in…. Why not 60 Muslims or are they Sango Worshippers. Not even in the first paragraph. We need to bring back the lost principle of fairness in News reporting!.
