Ruqayya Suleiman, a beautiful young lady from the northern part of Nigeria has been recognised as the first female pilot in Katsina.

In a period when northern women live as full time housewives, Ruqayya Suleiman has decided to carve out a niche for herself in the aviation field dominated by men.

 

Ruqayya Suleiman has been described as the first female pilot from Katsina State. She is being celebrated today which is Workers' Day.
