Riise who spent three seasons at Merseyside winning the League Cup, FA Cup, and the Champions League before joining the Giallorossi in 2008 where he had another impressive three seasons is backing the Egyptian to continue the goalscoring spree.
“Like Liverpool, I feel the offensive players of both teams are the ones that can be the difference. Both teams need to be strong defensively,” Riise told Echo.
“Salah just can’t stop scoring so I won’t be surprised if he does it again. Although the Roma players know what’s coming, he has been impossible to stop so far this season.”
