Calamity Husband takes to his heels as wife gives birth to armless baby

A young mother is calling on Nigerians to come to her aid after her husband fled after she gave birth to an armless baby.
An Ogun State based commercial bus driver, Mudashiru Sheriffdeen, did the unthinkable when he took to his heels after his wife, Taiwo, was delivered of an armless baby boy.
The strange birth which has turned the poor mother into a beggar, has seen her calling on the administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun to come to her rescue as she does not know how to cope with what life has thrown her way after everyone abandoned her with what could have been a bundle of joy for the young mother.
To compound matters, her landlord at her Bosun Street, Ifo in Ifo local government area residence, has warned her never to bring the hapless baby into his home, just as the private hospital, Majotal Medical Clinic, Ilogbo area of Ado-Odo/Ota, where she had the baby, has thrown her out.
The young mother who described her baby as a calamity, is now in tears and sees a bleak future for the child.
The birth of the strange baby which came on Monday, February 23, 2015, is now the center of attraction as residents of the area had been trooping to the hospital to catch a glimpse of the baby.
A tearful Taiwo narrated her ordeal to newsmen:
"This is my first child and I do not know why I had to give birth to this kind of a baby. Immediately my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he had not come to see me.
He is a commercial bus driver and we had married for almost two years before God decided to answer our prayer.
When I was pregnant, we took every step that the doctor directed us to take but we did not know why we came about this calamity."
The hospital management has asked us to leave the hospital. Now my baby and I have nowhere to go; I don’t need this baby, I want government to come and adopt him."
She is now pleading with well-meaning Nigerians to come to her aid as she is at a cross-roads.
